Senior students are specially selected for their maturity and good character to be shluchim (emissaries) of the Lubavitch Movement. They are in their final or penultimate year of study and are expected to continue with their own studies in a largely independent way. Each year, the flagship seminary of Chabad-Lubavitch sends six of the finest students from its graduation class to act as role models and mentors.
